Update on SWEC and Covid-19:
Following government advice and guidelines from the ABRS and BEF we are hoping to be able to start private lessons with social distancing in place, all being well, from Tuesday 2 June onwards. We are working hard to ensure that we protect both our clients and staff and to bring the horses and ponies back to work after their unscheduled holiday. It will be a long while before life can go back to ‘normal’ with stable management and group lessons but we hope to be able to reopen in a restricted way. More information to follow. Stay well and thank you for your ongoing custom and support. Click here to see the SWEC guidelines during Covid-19.
Please see our Facebook and Instagram page for updates. We now have a special SWEC mug available for all our supporters!
South Weylands Equestrian Centre was established in 1961 and is situated on South Weylands Farm, which covers 50 acres and is bordered by the river mole and Hersham village Golf Course. It has remained under the same family management and has earned an excellent reputation for first-class indoor and outdoor facilities, offering a safe environment with constructive, friendly tuition at all levels from trained instructors. It is being recognised that riding offers an opportunity to increase concentration and co-ordination skills, as well as providing a stimulating environment for learning to work as part of a team. The centre also offers training for career students wanting to do BHS/ABRS examinations.>
